Hello friends! My motive to write this blog is to familiar everyone with the condition of the today's engineers of the state colleges.I am also a engineering student of the college at Punjab and this my personal experience which i want to share with everyone.Now my six months industrial training is going on and the company in which my internship is not a big company. The company is start by the two friends of IIT Delhi. After joining i fell the actual difference between the mind levels of an state college student and IIT'ans.
The reason for this difference is clear that the state colleges only give the degree to the students but they don't make the engineers actually.In state colleges teacher only give there lectures and there is no any practical knowledge for the students but in IIT's the teachers only focus on the assignment that given to the student and student have to work on that assignment.After the completion of the degree when there is time of placements they have to compete with the students of the IITins for job.
I understand that this depends on the student he/she has to work hard for the job but there should be some source of motivation to achieve that goal which is missing in the state colleges.this is the condition of my college and the experience that i fell from my college and my friends which are also the students of these colleges.
If i am wrong any where then please suggest me to understand where is my fault is my thinking is wrong or you fell this is actually happen in state colleges.
